Bunkai's Story
Studio Bunkai was born out of love for creation and the impulse to design.
The term Bunkai is derived from martial arts and its meaning is the analysis and deconstructing of working techniques, always searching new application for known techniques, and from that analysis, reaching new insights and finding new interpretations.
In the same way, we look at the world of creation and design, approaching each new project with these same principles, examining traditional and modern design techniques, deconstruct them in order to reach new and interesting frontiers .
We believe that with the help of the right Bunkai, you can design new and unique products.

It continued at the DOJO learning the "alphabet" of movement and technique and how to use Bunkai to create words and then sentences.

Ofir Durek
With more than 15 years of experience in the furniture industry, Ofir, who holds a master's degree in design management from the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design and a bachelor's degree in interior design from the College of Management, opens Bunkai studio, exploring the world of design in order to develop new and interesting products.
